Terms of service

We sell to business customers only. If you're a consumer, please buy through a ControlFreq Trade partner; contact us and we'll point you to one.

These terms apply to every sale made by Control Freq Ltd ("the Company", "we") through this store, unless a separate project contract has been agreed in writing. They are governed by English law and replace any earlier agreement between you ("the Buyer") and us. Placing an order means you accept these terms. Only our terms apply.

Hours

Office: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:30. Closed weekends. Support: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00, Saturday 09:00–16:00, Sunday 10:00–15:00.

Weekend replies may take a little longer.

Price

Prices are as shown on the product page. For quantity or trade prices, call us. Goods are invoiced at the price on the day of dispatch, and we may correct errors or omissions. Prices are shown excluding VAT, and VAT is added at checkout.

Payment

Online orders are paid at checkout by card (via Shopify Payments), Shop Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Approved trade accounts are on strict 30-day terms from invoice date. Other customers pay with the order or before dispatch. To apply for credit, contact us. We won't ship further goods on an overdue trade account, and we withdraw credit from customers who keep paying late.

Late payments carry an admin charge of £30 for overdue amounts up to £2,000, plus £20 for each further £1,000. Interest is charged on overdue accounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 2.5% per calendar month or part month, from the invoice or supply date, whichever is earlier. If we have to take legal action to recover money owed, all costs (including time, company searches and debt collection fees) will be added.

Trade discount and discount codes

Trade discount only applies to invoices paid within terms (strictly 30 days). We may reverse discounts and invoice the difference. Trade discount codes apply to full list price items only, not clearance items. Smartbel is excluded from trade discount. If a code is used on an ineligible item, full payment is needed before shipping.

Promotions

From time to time we may offer promotions. Unless stated otherwise: - they're for UK customers buying direct from us who meet any stated conditions; - they're limited to one per person, household and transaction; - they depend on stock and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice; - they have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and can't be combined with other offers; - some need a specific product or a paid service plan, which we'll say at the time.

Subscriptions

We sell hardware only through this store. WebAlarm and EvolveSIM are available on request: call 020 3478 0784 or email hello@controlfreq.co.uk.

WebAlarm cloud monitoring is £5 per unit per month for the first year, then £7.50 per unit per month unless cancelled with 30 days' notice. Setup for your device is included.

EvolveSIM is £120 + VAT per year, paid by direct debit. It usually ships the same day and activates automatically once the direct debit is confirmed.

International sales

Online checkout is for UK delivery addresses only. For delivery outside the UK, ask for a quote at hello@controlfreq.co.uk or on 020 3478 0784. Orders delivered outside the UK need payment in advance. These terms apply to all customers, inside and outside the UK.

Suitability

We don't accept responsibility that goods are fit for any particular purpose. Verbal instructions are accepted on the basis that we aren't responsible for mistakes arising from them. We may change product specifications or prices without notice. Information in our literature is for general guidance and may change.

Ownership and liability

Goods stay our property until all outstanding invoices are paid in full. We aren't liable for labour costs of replacing faulty items or fault finding.
