ALPHAHUB is a multi-function 4G controller for a wide range of access control methods. As a stand-alone unit it's an advanced Caller-ID controller with cloud user management.
ALPHAHUB also includes a unique access function compared to the average GSM 'gate opener', called 'Virtual-PIN'. Virtual-PIN allows PIN code access, without a physical pinpad. The set PIN codes can be sent to the unit by SMS, making them ideal for visitors. As ALPHAHUB is a proper access control system, not just your average 'GSM gate opener', you can manage granular restriction of PIN codes using our cloud management platform. ALPHAHUB also allows mobile phones to be used as 'virtual access cards' connected to any 3rd party access panel via the Wiegand output. This allows authorised mobile phones to call in generating an output to an existing access control panel with a unique 'virtual-ID' or 'card number'. PAXTON installers use ALPHAHUB to provide 4G Caller-ID access, because PAXTON doesn't.
For traditional access applications, the G2, pairs with 3rd party Wiegand input devices, ie: prox readers, receivers, pinpads, long-range readers or ANPR enables access control to any 1 or 2 door application. The I/O can be expanded up to a maximum of 18 for advanced remote control applications.
Users can be assigned a specific relay – so for example, one user's QR-code might switch relay output 1 and another user's QR-code switches relay output 18. This makes the ALPHAHUB control system highly adaptable to 3rd party retrofit applications where advanced levels of indivdual user control are required.
Caller ID users can also be assigned the above 'specific relay control' functionalities.
The ALPHAHUB supports door & gate access control by PIN code, QR-code, licence plate, proximity-fob, secure-ID remote control or long-range vehicle ID token – all of which can be assigned individual time/day/date restrictions to control the access of each user based on their specific access rights. This makes the ALPHAHUB a power access control device for managing secure car park access. The various methods of access can also be used in combination with each other to create the ideal access control system for car parks with multiple user groups.
The temperature logging and event monitoring functionality reports breaches in high or low temperature thresholds. It also checks and logs temperatures periodically, ideal for protecting valuable items in fridges or freezers while also complying with legal obligations for food storage in commercial environments.
