Advanced GSM Alarm Auto-Dialler for Virtually an Application
OK, so here's the big problem...
You need to monitor something when you're not around, right?
Your home alarm, your fire alarm, your holiday home or even your caravan... Maybe you simply want to know if someone opens your driveway gate or walks into your garden!
Here's a solution designed to just that! The great thing about a GSM auto-dialler is this... It's main function it to inform you when that 'thing' 'event' or 'activity' occurs. Let's say your intruder alarm is set off. You'll be alerted on your mobile phone, instantly! Even before any of the neighbours have even bothered to notice another alarm is going off. You know, immediately! No matter where you are. This is what a Control Freq GSM auto-dialler does.
Perhaps you're wondering 'well how exactly does it do that?' ... right? If you've read this far, here's how... It has a SIM card inserted into it (see the picture below). When the GSM dialler gets installed, either the installer, or our 7 day tech support team will setup the phone numbers you want the system to call, by sending it a simple text message. When your alarm, sensor, switch of control system tells the dialler something has occurred, the Z4-V dialer calls (and/or sends a custom text) to the list of up to 10 preset phone numbers you chose. It's that simple. But what about actually connecting it? Wiring? Is it complicated? In a word, no. It takes a minimum 3 wires connection to install it just next to your alarm box (the one hidden in a cupboard somewhere). If you have extra devices or systems you want to monitor like various alarm zones, there's one extra wire per 'zone'. We can always help you over the phone if you're unsure.
The Z4-V GSM auto-dialler is a 'grade 2' standard alarm dialer. It detects any kinds of alarm activity based on the devices or alarm systems connected to it and instantly informs you on multiple phones. It can even call your alarm receiving centre (ARC) if you have your alarm monitored. As your alarm system activates, it tells The Z4-V dialler to call and SMS to a predefined list of up to 10 pre-defined phone numbers. It's compatible with any intruder or fire panels and works for stand alone alarm applications by simply connecting sensors to it.
The Z4-V GSM alarm auto-dialler really does just about everything and easily integrates with any systems.. It's simple enough to set up but has a whole range of highly configurable features to fine tune it to your own specific application.
It's the dialler of choice for many of the 100's of fire and intruder Alarm Installer customers we supply. If's a 'mission critical' application like monitoring a freezer, fire or intruder, don't look any further than the Z4-V. It's versatile enough to be used with an existing alarm system or as a stand alone auto-dialler allowing you to custom design a security or monitoring solution by connecting magnetic door contacts, PIR motion sensors, vibration detectors or any other kind of sensor you can think of. It's super flexible and simple to set up.
It has four separate alarm inputs to allow detection of four separate zones. Imagine you had a fire alarm and intruder alarm in one property so you'd want to know which one was activated right? You could connect the alarm output from the intruder alarm panel to alarm input 1 on the Z4-V GSM dialler. The alarm output from the fire alarm would be connected to the alarm input 2 on the Z4-V GSM auto-dialler. This way you use one GSM auto-dialler for two functions to send you SMS and call alerts if either your intruder or fire alarm activates. You'd get notified directly to your phone exactly what, where and when something was happening.
You can use the other two inputs to monitor completely different things, for example as driveway alert sensor to know someone is approaching. Many people use the Z4-V for multiple things like access control, intruder, fire alarm and perimeter security. All in one device. You can also think of each zone as a series of sensors. Imagine you have 10 motion detectors connected all in a loop back into alarm input 1. When any one of the 10 sensors detects motion it will SMS and / or call up to 10 mobile or landline phones.. The same is true for any of the inputs. The alerts you get on your mobile phone indicate exactly where the problem is.
Maybe you've also been thinking... 'But it's got a SIM card in it! That cost's money right?' Or 'Doesn't the SIM card expire if I don't use it much?' Or 'What if there's no mobile signal?'. We've got it all covered! The Z4-V GSM alarm dialler has an inbuilt 'stay alive' function. It keeps itself tested and on the network. It also has self test to send a periodical test message. You only ever receive a message or a call now and again. Even 10 a year would cost you less than £2. We have about 4 different GSM antenna options and I'm happy to report, we have never been unable to get a GSM alarm dialler solution working for any of our customers anywhere in the world!
